Several years ago, Joost Daalder and Antony Telford Moore published a lengthy article called ‘Breaking the Rules: Editorial Problems in Middleton and Dekkerʼs The Honest Whore, Part 1,ʼ Bibliographical Society of Australia and New Zealand Bulletin, Vol. 20, No. 4 (1996), 243-87 (‘Daalder-Mooreʼ, hereafter).
